ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The 2026 Humboldt Kolleg in Kraków aims to consolidate an international network of Humboldtians and collaborators dedicated to quantum technologies. Spanning atomic physics, condensed matter, and quantum optics, the event fosters cross-disciplinary dialogue between theorists and experimentalists. Key topics include quantum simulation, quantum computing strategies, and time-dependent quantum phenomena. By bridging traditional boundaries, the Kolleg provides a unique environment to identify research directions and catalyze innovative approaches in both fundamental and applied quantum science.

The conference was organized by the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and was held at the Collegium Novum, Gołębia Street 24, 31-007 Kraków, Poland, between 6-8 July 2026 (arrival day with Guided tour of Kraków: 5 July, departure day: 9 July)
